Special education advocacy services may include any of the following:

  • Parent consultation

  • Review, organization, and summary of developmental and educational records

  • Information regarding parent rights under state and federal law

  • Formal and informal correspondence

  • Attending meetings – IEPs, 504s, parent conferences, consultations with private service providers

  • Ensure families are meaningful partners and make informed decisions in the IEP process

  • Improve understanding of educational rights

  • Help interpreting assessment reports

  • And so much more!

HOPE Advocacy LLC can also help if your child is being bullied or discriminated against based on their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Special needs advocacy and consulting services are provided by Hope Advocacy LLC at the rate of $110 per hour, including travel time. Services include, but may not be limited to, meetings, email and telephone consultations, research, records reviews, and document preparation. Upon execution of a client agreement, parent/guardian agrees to provide an advance payment of $450 per client.
